Clean Floors, At Last: The Antique Victorian Hardwood Shines

In order to control the dust that came from the plaster demo, and since we were finished, I took a mop and cleaned all of the floors. It’s amazing what some Murphy’s Oil Soap can accomplish.

The floors had no subfloor, were cut in random spots, broken in others. They had the potential to be nice but the need for proper subflooring and intact floors outweighed the nostalgia of the original hardwood. Win some/lose some (especially when trying to explain to that to the Mrs!)
