Sheetrock is Up!

Sheetrock

Putting up the sheetrock was a long, arduous process. The framing was uneven, the floor wasn’t level, the ceiling looked like a sine wave. But with enough perseverance, and shims, it all made its way up.

This was the very first piece of sheetrock we put up, we needed it in order to spray foam behind it. It stood alone for quite awhile before the rest of it went up, but it was our little finished spot.

Turns out when you order a ton of sheetrock from Home Depot they’ll drive it right to your house and dump it in the driveway.

Then of course you have to drag it all inside. Which sucks.

We started with the mold resistant sheetrock, it went in the laundry room, bathroom, and kitchen.

Then we just did the rest of the house in no particular order.
